The lights dropped, the crowd roared, and a massive American flag filled the stage at Parx Casino’s Xcite Center.
On March 28, 2026, ERNEST brought his signature blend of country storytelling and high-energy performance to a packed house in Bensalem, PA.
From the very first note, the atmosphere inside Xcite Center felt electric. Fans were on their feet, the stage design was bold and patriotic, and the lighting created the perfect canvas for capturing the night.
Before ERNEST took the stage, Chandler Walters came out and immediately set the tone for the night.
What stood out most wasn’t just the music—it was his energy.
Chandler may have been the opener, but he performed like a headliner. From behind the steel guitar to engaging directly with the crowd, his enthusiasm and love for country music were undeniable. It’s rare to see someone so fully locked into the moment—and that kind of authenticity translates beautifully through the lens.
Capturing his set felt effortless because the energy was already there. Walters didn’t just open the show—he set the tone for the entire night.
When ERNEST hit the stage, the energy shifted again—bigger, louder, and more intense.
Like most concerts, photography access is limited. Typically, photographers are allowed to shoot the first three songs—but for this show, I was only permitted to photograph songs 2 and 3.
Every frame matters.
You have to quickly read the lighting, anticipate movement, and capture peak moments in real time. It’s fast-paced, unpredictable, and one of the most challenging—and rewarding—parts of concert photography.
ERNEST delivered a performance that blended raw country storytelling with arena-level presence.
From wide shots showcasing the full band and dramatic lighting…
To tight, emotional moments at the mic…
To high-energy guitar and drum sequences…
This show had everything I look for as a concert photographer:
Each moment felt unique—and capturing that variety is what brings a gallery like this to life.
When I photograph live music, I’m not just documenting what happened—I’m telling the story of the night.
I look for:
Some moments felt better stripped down—focusing purely on light, shadow, and emotion—which is where black-and-white imagery really shines.
From Chandler Walters’ high-energy opening set to ERNEST’s commanding performance, the night delivered everything fans could hope for—and more.
From behind the lens, it was a reminder of just how powerful live music can be when everything comes together.
